Delete Your Account

Applies to both customer and service professional accounts on OffTorque

You can permanently delete your OffTorque account and the personal information associated with it at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what happens to your data when you do.

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Open the OffTorque app (or offtorque.com) and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings (service professionals: the Profile tab → Account & Privacy section; customers: the Settings tab → Account & Privacy section).
  3. Select Delete My Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

Can't Log In?

If you're unable to sign in to request deletion yourself, email us at support@offtorque.com from the email address on your account. Include your full name and account type (customer or service professional). We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.

What's Deleted Immediately

What We Retain, and Why

Repair and service request history is anonymized, not deleted. Your name, phone number, email, and service address are scrubbed from past repair and service requests, but the underlying job record (service or vehicle details, dates, status) is kept so the platform and the other party to that job retain accurate records, without retaining anything that identifies you.
Payment transaction records are retained for up to 7 years after your account is deleted, as required for financial and tax compliance. These records are limited to transaction amount, date, and Stripe reference, never full card details, which OffTorque never stores in the first place.

Data Handled by Third Parties

Identity verification and payment processing both happen on Stripe's own systems under its own privacy policy, OffTorque does not control retention of any records Stripe may independently keep. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of service providers and what each one handles.
