Measures we take
- Keyboard navigability across the platform, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element
- A "Skip to main content" link as the first focusable element on every page
- Semantic landmarks (banner, main, navigation, contentinfo) so screen reader users can jump between regions
- Colour contrast meeting WCAG AA on all text and interface graphics
- Text labels alongside colour on every status badge, so colour is never the only way information is conveyed
- Descriptive labels for form inputs and icon-only buttons
- Live regions so dynamically updated content is announced
- Automated accessibility checks in our test suite, run on every build
Known limitations
We state these plainly rather than omit them. An accessibility statement claiming total conformance is rarely accurate, and we would rather tell you what does not work yet so you can ask us for an alternative.
- Manual screen reader testing is not yet complete. Our fixes were verified by automated checks and code review. Automated tools catch roughly a third of real problems, so a full NVDA and VoiceOver pass across every surface is still outstanding.
- Modal focus management is partially implemented. Focus is trapped and restored in the dialogs converted so far; the rest are in progress.
- Third-party components (Stripe Checkout, Stripe Connect onboarding, Google Maps address autocomplete) are embedded from their vendors, and we do not control their internal markup.
- The native iOS app has not yet been tested with VoiceOver.
- Some longer legal and handbook pages contain complex tables that may be awkward to navigate with a screen reader.

The iOS item is tied to release rather than a date because that testing requires hardware we do not yet have. We would rather say so than publish a date we cannot stand behind.
Progress is reviewed at each target and this page is updated. If a target slips, the date here changes rather than quietly disappearing.
